Pre-School Curriculum

Blair Athol Child Care Centre is committed to providing Preschool aged children with a developmentally appropriate program that will prepare them for their transition to school. We follow the Early Years Learning Framework and the NSW Board of Studies Early Stage 1 Curriculum when preparing and developing our programs.

Our service employs early childhood trained teachers to assist in the teaching and learning of the children involved in this school readiness program. This program focuses on both cognitive and social development and includes; language development and letter recognition, counting skills and number recognition, science and technology, physical activity, problem solving skills, teamwork and sharing, attention span and concentration skills, emotional maturity and resilience skills, positive self esteem and confidence to achieve goals.
